It's kind of amazing

how many adults request Choose Your Own Adventure books--and then get all kinds of put out when I direct them to the children's department. 

Where are the Choose Your Own Adventure books for adults?, they want to know.

    They do look pretty awesome. Sadly, our library system doesn't own them. And I'm pretty sure the dudes who ask for them aren't interested in "The Night of 1000 Boyfriends"--though of course I could be wrong.
